The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden is a heartwarming story about healing and transformation, centering on Mary Lennox, a spoiled, unloved young girl who is sent to live at her uncle’s gloomy mansion in England after being orphaned in India. Miserable and lonely in her new home, Mary’s life takes a turn when she discovers a hidden, locked garden on the grounds that has been neglected for ten years. As she secretly begins to tend to the withered plants, she not only watches the garden come back to life, but she also begins to shed her own sour attitude. Along the way, she connects with new friends, including a local boy who has a magical way with animals, and uncovers other deeply buried family secrets hidden within the mansion. Ultimately, it’s a beautiful look at how nature, friendship, and a little bit of care can rejuvenate the most broken of spirits.
